In 2000 at the age of 55 I bought a lime green mountain bike for early morning exercise. While my doctor supported this aerobic fitness he strongly encouraged me to include weightlifting as a means to counteract beginning symptoms of osteopenia. I was pointed in Flo’s direction in February, 2002. I am now 76 and still with Flo and my husband has also joined our small group. Twice a week, 1 1/2 hours each time, we follow our own individually designed program under the guidance of highly qualified kinesiologists. We are here because we can see and feel the benefit of locking into regular exercise and because it is a fun place to be with such skilled and friendly practitioners, always positive, calm and encouraging. I’m still getting corrected so I’ll keep coming.
